5. AI and Generative Content
PlateLoad uses third-party generative AI services, currently Google Gemini, to produce workout plans, meal suggestions, exercise imagery, and coaching insights.
When you use these features, we send relevant context — such as your workout goals, training preferences, dietary preferences, and recent workout data — to the AI provider solely to generate a response for your request.
We do not send your email address, payment information, or raw Apple Health data to AI providers.
Providers process these requests under their own data-protection terms and do not use this data to train their public models.
AI-generated content is assistive, may be inaccurate, and is not medical, nutritional, or professional advice. You are responsible for how you use it.

These providers process data on our behalf or as independent controllers depending on the service.

If you request deletion, we will seek to delete or anonymise your data unless we are required to keep certain information by law or for legitimate operational reasons.
