PlateLoad

Guide

Offline logging and background sync

Workouts save locally first. Without internet, you keep logging; when connectivity returns, changes sync in the background with safe retries.

Why it matters

Gyms have unreliable networks. Offline-first design prevents lost sessions and builds trust that your effort is never discarded.

How to use it

  1. Start and finish workouts as usual — connectivity is not required for the core logger.
  2. If a sync banner appears, read the short status; most issues resolve automatically when you are back online.
  3. Avoid force-quitting mid-set where possible; the app is built to recover, but graceful saves are always safer.

Tips

  • If you travel, finish sessions before signing out of the device account when possible.
  • When sync stalls, check device connectivity and pull to refresh or revisit the workout list after a minute.
